Lent is coming

Ash Wednesday is February 6, which starts the season of Lent. Things at work (my church) are getting really busy because of this since we have special services every Wednesday till Easter, and also Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services.

I need to remember the "reason for the season". Christmas isn't the only busy time of year for churches....now I'm a part of it, so I hope I can get through okay.

Incredible birthday at Incredible Pizza

I got a small, itsy bitsy cake since I knew we'd be eating a lot of pizza. :) You can't tell from the picture, but those are "sparkler candles". Didn't go too crazy with the sparkling, but it was enough to make you sit back a little!

Seth had a great birthday. We let him loose with his game card and he also got to play mini golf with Granddad and Dad. He had a BLAST! He has a gift certificate he needs to spend, so we plan on going shopping this weekend. :)

I WANT IT! This is a Jupiter's Envy Mystic Topaz. Azotic Coating Techonology enhances white topaz stones into really neat colors. I have some of these:

Twilight Topaz. Kohl's sells these varieties, and they are GORGEOUS! But I really like that Jupiter's Envy. Some day, it will be mine. It will......be mine......

How come we don't have these in the US?

About $26-27K, fully loaded - sort of a cross-over vehicle. I think it was on Brazil's VW site. You'd be amazed at how many different (and more affordable) vehicles in the VW line there are in other countries!

It won two out of four races. Hehe. I didn't even sand it! I painted it pink, tied a ribbon on, and hey, those are Swarovski crystals glued on....only the best!
