I just have to say, that my dad is the BEST! He could have been home relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, but he helped us rebuild our back door frame/area. All we were going to do was to put in a new storm door (we don't have one, just a regular door, it started leaking so bad!).....but then rotted out wood was around the frame, so Ken and Dad decided to do it right and put new wood where it was needed.
It was SO HOT outside but they both stayed out there for hours. It's getting done and they'll finish up (hopefully) tomorrow.
It's sure nice to have a dad that can "do stuff", but even more so when he does more than he has to and never complains. He really is "just glad to help". He means what he says. (What a concept!)
If only more people in the world were like that....wanting to help (and with no secret agendas or anything)! The world would be a better place if more people turned their attention outward instead of inward.
